I have been interested in photography ever since my early teens when I witnessed in my father's makeshift darkroom the magical moment of seeing a black and white print appear in the developer tray.

Although my processing workflow is now a digital one, I still get the same sense of excitement when making, what I believe to be, a good quality photograph.

Millions of photographs are captured every day via our digital cameras and smart phones - we upload these images to social media and share them with our friends and family through the ever-growing digital world but I feel it is really important for us to hold a physical photograph in our hand or see it hanging on our wall.
